Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) estranged herself from her ex Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) when she initially took the side of Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) following the attack which killed Seb in Coronation Street.
Next week, the pair are back on track but for how long? Asha is delighted that Nina is back in her life and Asha certainly helped the situation by turning the tables on Corey and exposing him, eventually leading to his arrest.
Asha and Nina will now join forces and create a memorial garden for Seb including a mural that Nina paints for her lost boyfriend.
At this point, Asha starts to make it clear to Nina that she still has romantic feelings for her but Nina is affronted by the timing; she is still grieving for Seb.
And Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) is also displeased by the memorial idea, seeing it as an empty gesture; and when she sees the mural she is horrified and upset.
Nina and Roy discover the memorial garden has been ransacked and are appalled that someone could do such a thing. Devastated Nina accuses Asha but has she got it wrong?
And will this tear her friendship with Asha apart all over again?
The scenes come ahead of the trial of evil Corey which has already been filmed. Can everyone unite among their differences to ensure Seb gets justice.
And who really destroyed the garden could Abi be to blame?
