Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) is set to make her way back to Coronation Street following time behind bars.
The troubled teen has been in prison after being wrongly sent down for Seb Franklin’s murder.
While Kelly has struggled to adapt to her new life, Corey (Maximus Evans) has happily walked the cobbles, fully aware he successfully got away with murder.
Fortunately, Corey’s smug smile will be wiped from his face when Kelly gets released.
Kelly’s appeal hearing takes place and the judge declares that she’s releasing her with immediate effect.
Imran (Charlie De Melo) runs into Sabeen (Zora Bishop), and she assures him she’ll always be there for him.
Later on, after a visit from the social worker, Imran and Toyah (Georgia Taylor) are appalled to realise they may have to choose between whether they want to give Elsie a home, or Kelly.
Meanwhile, Kelly makes her way back to Weatherfield and approaches Nina (Mollie Gallagher).
Kelly is desperate to build bridges, but Nina makes it clear she will never forgive her.
Can Kelly adapt to her life out of prison and back on the cobbles?
If residents can’t move past what Kelly did, will she even feel she belongs in Weatherfield?
