EastEnders fans have been left fearing that Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) is dead after Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) appeared to hit her with her car while driving at Phil and Ben Mitchell (Steve McFadden and Max Bowden).
The soap has not confirmed who Whitney hit but eagle eyed fans have been using audio descriptions and pausing their screens and it’s pretty hard to get Kat and Phil mixed up.
We aren’t revealing the outcome over who has been knocked down and if they survive but fans are particularly worried for Kat as the body on the ground seemed to be wearing her black coat. And Phil would have had to get changed quite quickly to be wearing it.
Whitney screamed as she came to her senses too late after driving into the crowd after the wedding.
Phil was having a huge go at Callum over his work as a police officer against him but his new husband Ben blocked the way.
Kat also managed to diffuse the rage of Phil somewhat but they were all distracted when a grieving Whitney sped towards them in a blind rage.
Shona exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘Whitney is obviously still grieving, I guess she’s not thinking straight. When she hears Ben and Callum are still going through with the wedding and are very happy, she gets really angry.
‘She is worried about Callum being married into the family she thinks killed her fiancé, she has so much hatred for Ben and the Mitchells right now. As far as she is concerned, they killed Kush – she’s not happy!
‘Her intention isn’t to kill – it’s to gatecrash the wedding. When she sees everyone under the bridge, she thinks “I have nothing to lose – I have lost the love of my life, that’s it”. She just wants the Mitchells to hurt the way she is hurting I guess, she doesn’t intend to kill.’
Fans might not see it that way though – especially if this is the end of Kat!
