Peaky Blinders: What to see the cast in next? Biggest films and TV shows

Peaky Blinders on the BBC has always been known for its stellar cast. Starring everyone from Cillian Murphy to Sam Claflin, the fifth series continued this pattern. While fans are waiting for season six to be released, Express.co.uk has rounded up what the stars will be appearing in next.

1. Cillian Murphy – Tommy Shelby

Cillian Murphy stars as the brutal leader of the Peaky Blinders in the hit series.

However, the acclaimed actor has also appeared in a number of other Hollywood films, including Inception and The Dark Knight.

Viewers will next be able to see the Irish actor in the sequel to John Krasinski’s horror film A Quiet Place.

He will appear in A Quiet Place: Part II as a mysterious stranger who joins the Abbott family in the film due to be released in 2020.

2. Helen McCrory – Polly Gray

English actor Helen McCrory plays matriarch Polly Gray in the hit gangster series.

The actor is no stranger to television dramas, having started in both MotherFatherSon and Fearless in the past few years.

Next, viewers will be able to catch her in His Dark Materials as Stelmaria.

She will also be in upcoming mini-series Quiz as Sonia Woodley QC.

3. Sam Claflin – Oswald Mosley

Sam Claflin joined the cast of Peaky Blinders in season five as Oswald Mosley.

After he survived an assassination attempt from the notorious gang, it was confirmed he will also be in the upcoming sixth series.

The British actor will be appearing in a number of films over the next few years, including the upcoming Charlie’s Angels as Alexander Brock.

He will also be starring in Every Breath You Take, Watch the Skies, Enola Holmes and Love. Wedding. Repeat.

4. Paul Anderson – Arthur Shelby

Paul Anderson stars as Tommy’s older brother Arthur Shelby in the BBC drama.

Anderson has also starred in The Revenant but viewers can next see him in Tijuana Bible as Nick.

5. Finn Cole – Michael Gray

Finn Cole had a dramatic series as Michael Gray in Peaky Blinders season five.

He is also known for playing Joshua ‘J’ Cody in series Animal Kingdom.

However, the young actor will next be in two big films due out in 2020 – Here Are the Young Men and Fast & Furious 9.

6. Sophie Rundle – Ada Shelby

The younger sister of Arthur and Tommy, Ada Shelby is played by Sophie Rundle.

She will be starring in television film Elizabeth is Missing as Sukey and as Rose in the new film Rose.

Rundle has also been announced to be starring in mini-series The Nest as well as Gentleman Jack season two.

7. Tom Hardy – Alfie Solomons

Fans were pleased when Tom Hardy made his triumphant return as Alfie Solomons in the latest season of Peaky Blinders.

The well-known actor will appearing in number of films across the next few years including the sequel to Venom where he plays the title character.

Hardy will also be starring in Fonzo as Al Capone, as well as War Party, Mad Max: The Wasteland and television series Sticky.

Later this year he is appearing in and producing the upcoming adaptation of A Christmas Carol written by Steven Knight.
