Peaky Blinders will return for series six but after that, there will be no more new episodes to look forward to. Earlier this year, the BBC revealed that the journey of Brummie gang leader Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) will reach its conclusion when Peaky Blinders returns. A release date hasn’t been revealed just yet but there have been some casting announcements.

Who is James Frecheville?
Taking to the official Peaky Blinders Twitter account, actor James Frecheville was said to be the next new star to join the cast in season six.
The tweet simply reads: “Presenting James Frecheville, who joins the cast of #PeakyBlinders series 6.”
Along with the short caption is a picture of Frecheville in a dapper suit, looking very serious with a drink in hand.
So far, no further details have been given on just who Frecheville will play and how he will impact the final season.
The 29-year-old Australian actor is probably best known for his lead role as Joshua “J” Cody in film Animal Kingdom.
This movie won the Word Cinema Jury Prize at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and according to The Hollywood Reporter, Frecheville was “a brilliant casting choice.”
He portrayed J, a confused teenager and the youngest member of a criminal family in Melbourne’s underworld.
Even prior to joining the cast of Peaky Blinders, Frecheville had a connection with the period drama.
Actor Finn Cole plays Tommy’s cousin Michael Gray in Peaky Blinders who left the gang when they weren’t convinced he should take over as leader of the gang.
Cole has been portraying J in the television series adaptation of Animal Kingdom on TNT since 2016.
He has taken on the same role which was originally made famous by Frecheville who is now going to be joining Cole in Peakin Blinders.
Some of the star’s other acting roles include Black ’47, The Drop, Adore, The Dry and Requiem.
