Jeremy Vine was joined by co-host Storm Huntley, Iain Dale and Yasmin Alibhai-Brown on today’s edition of the Channel 5 show. However, during a discussion on whether it’s fair for Sadiq Khan to offer Euro 2020 final tickets to those who sign up for their first coronavirus vaccine, Jeremy clashed with an unhappy caller.

One caller argued it was wrong to encourage people to take the Covid vaccine.

Yasmin hit out: “There are people in poorer countries who would die for the chance to have the vaccine.”

The caller admitted the panellists were making her “feel bad” about her medical choices.

“Good, we want you to feel bad,” Iain quipped.

The viewer explained she had had allergic reactions to medicine in the past and wanted to be clearer about the long term effects of the vaccine before taking it.

She also revealed she’s “allergic to nuts” and is “worried about how my body will react” to the vaccine.

Cutting her off, Jeremy said: “I think when you said your allergic to nuts that’s where we end the conversation because that’s got nothing to do with it.”
