No Claude Littner on this series of The Apprentice as familiar face takes over

Uncompromising, scary and blunt are just a few of the words used to describe Claude Littner.

The business guru has been one of Lord Alan Sugar's trusted confidants on the hit BBC show The Apprentice, as budding entrepreneurs battle it out to go into business with the right honourable billionaire.

Claude, who has now announced he is to leave the show, is known for his cut-throat style and sharp comments that can make apprentices wilt in and out of the boardroom.

Some of his takedowns have become some of the most memorable and popular clips from the show.

He joined the show in 2015 and his net worth is believed to be a whopping £36 million, though this pales in comparison to Lord Sugar's reported net worth of well over £1.2 billion

So why is trusty Claude not present and who will replace him?

Why is Claude Littner not in The Apprentice 2022 and who will replace him?

The familiar face of Claude Littner will not grace our screens in the upcoming series of The Apprentice and will instead be replaced by Tim Campbell.

Claude will be sitting out the series as he recovers from a bicycle accident on an electric bike in London. Doctors initially considered amputating his injured leg and he was subjected to his tenth surgery in July 2021.

Upon joining the show, he said: "It’s a great privilege to be back part of that amazing franchise, which has obviously been transformational in lots of the things that I’ve gone on to do subsequent to the show.

"I’ve got a huge amount of respect for him and what he’s done in terms of my life with my family and stuff. So it was more so about making sure that I did a good job."
