Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) was the only daughter her late mother Fay Brennan (Zoe Bertram) gave birth to as well as four boys, including Neighbours favourite, Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson). There has never been any doubt in the family’s mind there could be a fifth sibling out there in the world, let alone another sister. However, in light of the matriarch’s death on the Channel 5 soap a couple of weeks ago, her children could be set to discover she had been harbouring a secret from them for decades.
Recent scenes on the Australian drama have seen Chloe and Aaron trying to come to terms with their mother’s sudden loss.
They attended the matriarch’s funeral in Adelaide, where they were joined by their two other brothers, Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) and Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns).
With all the ceremonial rituals out of the way, the next thing the family will have to contend with is the reading of Fay’s will.
There has already been some contention with this as just before she died, the mother-of-four asked for Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes) to be added in as she is carrying her grandchild.
It could be up to lawyer Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Maloney) to inform the clan there are actually five children, plus Nicolette, drafted into the will.
This would leave Fay’s children rocked to the core as they try to make sense of the revelation and if any of it is true.
Doing some digging, they could discover their secret sibling is also living in Australia and plan to meet with her.
They will be full of questions, wanting to know why their sister was kept a secret all these years and if she knew Fay was ill.
The actress who plays Chloe, April, spoke exclusively with Express.co.uk about the prospect of her character not being the only Brennan sister.
There is only one Brennan gal

April said: “No. Don’t frighten me like that! There is only one Brennan gal and I won’t hear anything different!”
Although the actress who plays Chloe might not want to see her character discover she has a sister, fans would be interested to see how she would react given she grew up in a house full of boys.
Would the hotshot businesswoman be jealous as she watches her sister getting on with Aaron or will she accept this secret into the family?
As viewers wait to see if the Brennan clan expands, Chloe will be desperately trying to keep her romance with Nicolette a secret in upcoming scenes.
Episodes that have recently aired in the UK have seen the two women share their first kiss after finally admitting they had feelings for one another.
Agreeing to enjoy their moment of happiness together, Chloe and Nicolette try hard to keep their distance from one another in public.
When Jane Harris (Annie Jones) returns to Ramsay Street, however, it’s not long before she discovers what her daughter has been up to.
The drama unravels as the teacher is keen to find a new place for her and Nicolette to live after moving out of Aaron’s place.
As Jane arranges a meeting with Aaron, his husband David Tanaka (Takaya Honda), Chloe and Nicolette in Harold’s cafe, she gets more than she bargained for.
Catching her daughter kissing her new girlfriend, Jane is speechless and Nicolette asks her to be accepting of the new romance.
Unfortunately, the mother-of-one can’t give the pair her blessing and this builds an awkward tension between her and her daughter.
Jane isn’t the only person who is doubtful as Aaron also shares his concerns with his sister about her new relationship.
Though, his mind is changed when he sees how well the two women get along together so can Jane be persuaded to see things the same way?
