In this week’s NCIS, fans were delighted to see Agent Nick Torres (played by Wilmer Valderrama) back in the field, working on the latest cast. There have been a number of hard-working agents to work under Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) over the years, many of which who gained popularity with CBS viewers. One agent who many fans don’t believe got enough time on the show was Alexandra Quinn (Jennifer Esposito).

Agent Quinn was first introduced to NCIS at the beginning of season 14.

He left the team so he could move to Paris and take care of their daughter Tali.

But all hope might not be lost for Agent Quinn to make a comeback in the future.

In her last episode on NCIS, Quinn took two phone calls from her mother but it wasn’t clear what they were about.

Fans later learned the agent decided to take a leave of absence so she could take care of her mother who had Alzheimer’s.

Even though Quinn has not been seen again working with the team, she was not killed off unlike many other previous characters.

So there could be a possibility that Esposito could return to the show.

  • NCIS: New Orleans cast: Who plays special agent Quentin Carter?

Esposito’s character was brought to life by showrunner Gary Glasberg but after he tragically died, writing duties were passed on.

This led to the actress being written out of the show by the end of season 14.

However, a few years have gone by now and perhaps the writers may want to rethink Quinn’s appearance on NCIS.

NCIS continues every Tuesday at 9pm on CBS.
