BBC comedy Mrs Brown’s Boys has been thrown into chaos after two actors reportedly quit the longstanding sitcom. Gary Hollywood and Damien McKiernan are said to have been furious when they discovered they earn less than the rest of the cast. However, the broadcaster wouldn’t budge on the matter causing the two actors to walk away from the show.

Gary and Damien, who play couple Dino and Rory, have been reportedly told they will not be starring in the 2020 Christmas specials.

A source explained: “Gary and Damien were confused and hurt when they realised they were getting paid less than the others.

“When they raised the issue it did not go down very well.

“Gary was later told he would only be appearing in one of this year’s Christmas specials.”
