Love Island’s Curtis branded ‘game player’ over Maura and Francesca triangle
Love Island viewers turned on Curtis Pritchard as he got closer to Maura Higgins and newbie Francesca Allen.
Following the tense recoupling, the 23-year-old told Francesca he was glad she picked him, and that he had to ‘stop himself from smiling’ when she said his name.
The professional dancer seemed to forget all about their chat as Maura joked about sneaking into his bed just a few moments later.
Speaking to Molly Mae and Tommy about the love triangle he managed to find himself in, he said he’d never had any girls fighting over him – and that he ‘liked it’.
‘I don’t want to rush it but I know I need to get a move on because I’ll push them both away,’ he added.
‘I wish one of them was horrible, it would make the decision so much easier!’
However, fans watching on at home were less than impressed, flocking to Twitter to slam his antics.
‘Unpopular opinion: Curtis is literally the biggest game player like who gave u this confidence babes?? #LoveIsland,’ one posted.
‘I use to think Curtis was a real sweetheart, now I’m starting to think he’s a proper cringy creep #LoveIsland,’ another commented.
A Twitter user said: ‘Curtis went from being my favourite islander to literally my least favourite in the blink of an eye. What a bloody creep. #LoveIsland.’
While a viewer questioned: ‘How can Curtis say he needs to ‘get to know’ Maura and Francesca? He knows by now if he likes Maura or not, they’ve spent the last 4 weeks together. #LoveIsland.’
Elsewhere in the episode, Maura upped her game in her bid to get closer to Curtis, and asked him for a cheeky massage.
As you do…
Unfortunately, Francesca was in full view of the whole thing, telling Joanna: ‘I just think, have a bit of respect.
‘I did say “you could get to know her”, but he’s really getting to know her now.
‘It’s right in front of my face. Does he actually know what he’s doing?’
Apparently not…
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
