Love Island's Liberty Poole is set to clear the air with boyfriend Jake Cornish on Sunday's episode after seeing a clip of him questioning his attraction towards her.

It comes after Liberty was left distraught during movie night last week after watching a clip in which the 24 year old admitted to his pals earlier on the series that he "didn't want to rip her clothes off".

And in scenes yet to unfold on Sunday night's episode, Liberty pulls Jake for a chat and tells him: "That clip last night, not going to lie, it did really hurt me. Does my boyfriend rate me, do you know what I mean?"

To which Jake explains that he was "sorry he said it" and "couldn't go back" with Liberty responding: "My heart sunk when I saw the comment."

Jake then replies: "I did want the ground to swallow me up when I saw that, and I looked over, and you were looking down. I felt f***ing awful."

Explaining her hurt, Liberty adds: "The way I'm feeling is valid."

Jake continues: "When you're walking around, I'm thinking, 'F**k me, rip her clothes off'. That's what I do. I'd be worried if I didn't. I can't keep my hands off you."

Liberty responds: "I want to squish it here and now and articulate how I felt. And that is how I felt; I felt s***, I felt hurt, I thought that was a d***head comment."

This comes after Liberty revealed doubts crept into her mind over her relationship with Jake following his comment.

She already explained to Jake how she felt, telling him: "I know I'm probably not like a supermodel or this or that and that's why I always use my personality and stuff so to hear you say, 'I don't want to rip her clothes off, I don't know if the attraction is 100 per cent,' f*****g hurt."

Jake replied: "I made you my girlfriend and want to spend every single day with you. If you're always going to live in the past, how are you going to move forward in the future. Lib remember, I didn't know anything about you…"

"It did hurt me, that's all I'm saying," she responded, as he continued: "You're my girlfriend. I want to take you home, meet my family, you're my future. I don't know what more I can say to you for you to realise that."
