Love Island has been hit with a massive 391 complaints from viewers after they felt the treatment towards Hugo Hammond was unfair during a challenge and argument that took place.
In an episode that aired on July 8th, Hugo was left out in the cold as he wasn't picked by any of the ladies in the line of booty challenge.
Instead, all the other lads were playfully seduced by the women in the villa, with some boys even given the opportunity to go twice.
Hugo not being picked by any of the other women during the challenge received an incredible 235 complaints.
Not only this, but Love Island fans were also concerned about an argument that Hugo was involved in after he expressed his dislike for "fake" looking women.
Faye Winter and Sharon Gaffka found Hugo offensive when he highlighted his preference for natural looking ladies.
Finding out that he had upset the women, Hugo was left in tears. But this further infuriated viewers and led some of them to make an Ofcom complaint on this too.
Love Island was also hit with 156 complaints as viewers were distressed that Hugo was upset.
Upset fans also aired their uneasiness regarding the treatment of Hugo in the line of booty challenge and the argument over the word "fake" online.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Nahh the way that Hugo got left out of that challenge was so unfair. Even if one girl chose to give him a dance after they picked there's. I’ve realised the nice guys always get pushed out and left out just like Alex was."
