Kanye West plans to build huge 10 bedroom 52,0000 sq ft mansion at $14m ranch in Wyoming – The Sun

KANYE West is planning to build a 52,000 sq ft mansion at his $14million ranch in Wyoming.

The rapper, 43, has got the green light to construct a 10 bedroom "monster" of a pad at the sprawling lakeside property in the Cowboy State.

Kanye's building and zone permits filed in Cody, Wyoming, were approved over the last few months, TMZ reported.

The Yeezy designer plans to build a single-family residence which will reportedly be the primary one he'll use for him, wife Kim Kardashian and their four kids: North, seven, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and Psalm, one.

The couple currently split their time between the Wyoming digs and their $20million LA mansion.

Kanye's plans will replace the lakeside cabins and dwellings currently at the ranch and he's also been given permission to build two 10,000 sq ft underground garages.

He's looking to construct two new lake houses on top of the existing ones, according to the plans.

The All Of The Lights rapper will need a new septic system for all of the plans and must get wastewater permits before renovation begins, the documents stated.

The rapper bought a ranch for $14 million in September last year and liked it so much that he bought himself a second one – also for $14 million – according to People.

The Monster Lake Ranch encompasses more than 1,400 acres and is located about 75 miles from Yellowstone National Park.

The property includes a restaurant and saloon, a ranch-style event venue, a maintenance shop, an office building, horse barns, sheds, corrals, storage facilities, and a state-of-the-art shooting range.

The property has formally been renamed West Lake Ranch, but West also refers to it as “Yeezy campus,” referencing his fashion brand.

The Sun Online revealed back in February that Kanye – who recently announced he's running for president – is keen to give the ranch a makeover.

A source explained: "Kanye wants to makeover the ranch in the same style as his LA home – so it'll be really sleek and minimal but with a nod to the Wild West.

"He's flying out there all the time, by private jet, and it's going to cost a fortune.

"Money is no object. It'll be twice as expensive as the LA home as everything will have to be shipped in."

He has already installed a music studio above the “eating cabin,” and has brought a fleet of vehicles to the property, including Ford F-150 Raptor pickup trucks, ATVs, UTVs and his “tank,” all painted in matching matte black.

The ranch has plenty of wildlife with two lakes full of fish, wild antelope, mule deer and elk, plus 160 cows and around 700 sheep.

West reportedly intends to use the sheep's wool to create some of his Yeezy clothing.

Can Kanye West run for president in 2020?

Kanye technically can run for president, however he may experience roadblocks as it is too late for him to file as an independent in six states.

Certain states like North Carolina, Texas, New York and Maine have deadlines in order to have an independent candidate register for the election.

While Kanye could just be on the ballot as a “write-in”, many of these states do not count those as official votes and the rules vary.

The rapper also doesn't appear to be registered with the Federal Election Committee.

He has not alluded to a specific political party affiliation.

However, he has been known for his backing of President Trump and being photographed with a MAGA hat on numerous occasions.

West – who has a net worth of $1.3 billion – has plans to incorporate several unique features into the rustic acreage, including a series of seven dome-shaped structures, a skate park, and something called a “urine garden,” according to WSJ Magazine.

Despite these big plans and the amount of time they’ll no doubt require, Kim has said the family will not likely relocate to Wyoming full time.

“Kim is definitely not moving and living full-time in Wyoming right now. Kim likes visiting Wyoming, but she sees it more like a vacation place,” a source told People in September.

“It’s very quiet and private.”
