James Argent is all smiles with fans in Marbella just hours after ex Gemma Collins revealed heartbreaking miscarriage

JAMES 'Arg' Argent was all smiles as fans surrounded him at a Marbella club just hours after ex Gemma Collins spoke out on her heartbreaking lockdown miscarriage.

The 32-year-old star couldn't stop beaming as he spent another night at Olivia's La Cala restaurant, owned by his pal Elliot Wright.

The singer performed at the venue and mingled with fans, pictured stopping for selfies and joining guests at their tables.

Arg wore a grey shirt and black trousers for the outing, with his trademark grin firmly in place throughout the night.

The jubilant display came after 39-year-old Gemma opened up about recently suffering a miscarriage, with the pair ending their three-year on/ off romance last month.

Appearing on Loose Women yesterday, Arg's ex said losing a baby with "someone I loved very much was very heartbreaking".

She told the panel: "It's not easy to fall pregnant. I did suffer a miscarriage, which was really sad, during the lockdown period."

The star, who has polycystic ovary syndrome, said she didn't realise, thinking she was having a very heavy period that lasted for ten days.

She explained: "Three or for days in, I was realising it wasn't usual. It went on for ten days between 9am and midday.

"I was getting through ten super sanitary towels [a day].

"I rang my doctor and he said I he said: you need to go straight to the hospital."

The star added: "It was very sad. But it does make me realise that potentially there is hope there for me for the future."

Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common condition that means your ovaries do not regularly release eggs and can make pregnancy difficult.

But Gemma said she still hopes to become a mum explaining she is still "holding on to that dream" that she will conceive naturally.

She said: "I pray every night that everything's going to work out for me. Having a miscarriage with someone you love very much was very heartbreaking."

The star last month spoke about another miscarriage that happened in 2012, saying she gave birth on her landing.

Speaking on her podcast she said: "I actually gave birth to a child, sadly, and basically the child was four months old.

"Basically I had a miscarriage but obviously the baby was formed and it died in front of me.

"I had to go to the hospital and my mum was there. I can remember my mum being really upset, I was in shock, I was upset.

"That was really a shocking moment for me. But this is what I’m saying, I can talk about it now. Things sometimes are not meant to be."

Gemma dumped Arg this summer after he cruelly fatshamed her, calling her a "hippo" and "fat f**k" in a string of vile WhatsApp messages.

She was also heartbroken when he asked if they could be in an open relationship, with Arg previously praising the Towie favourite for supporting him during his cocaine addiction.
