Inside No 9 will be back on screens tonight, May 10 at 9.30pm, once again giving fans a whole new series of stories to explore. The season will premiere on BBC Two with the first episode titled Wuthering Heist. But who is in the cast of this new series?

Who is in the cast?

Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton will once again be headlining the cast of the show and will be encountering new characters in each episode of the new season.

Inside No 9 is no stranger to attracting some big names to join the cast each season, with plenty of fan-favourite cameos across the last five series.

Season six promises to be no different, with a selection of new and old faces coming together for the anthology.

The BBC has not yet confirmed all the names that will be making an appearance this season, though many of the main players have been confirmed.

Adrian Dunbar

Fans will recognise Adrian Dunbar as Ted Hastings from Line of Duty, but he is also known for a variety of major projects.

Recently Dunbar could be seen in Blood, Broken, The Hollow Crown, and The Life and Adventures of Nick Nickleby.

Sian Clifford

Best known as Claire from Fleabag, Sian Clifford has played a number of prominent roles across many different series.

Some of her projects include Two Weeks to Live, Quiz, and Vanity Fair, she has also appeared in Midsomer Murders, Hitmen and Liar.

Paterson Joseph

A Peep Show regular, starring as the fan favourite Johnson from the series, Paterson Joseph will also be making an appearance this season.

Beyond Peep Show, Joseph recently starred in Noughts + Crosses, Timeless, and Rellik.

Lindsay Duncan

Lindsay Duncan has starred across film and TV, recently featuring in the series A Discovery of Witches.

She has also appeared in The Leftovers, Sherlock, Close to the Enemy, and the Oscar Best Picture winner – Birdman: Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance).

Kevin Bishop

Kevin Bishop’s career boomed after he appeared in the series Grange Hill, leading him to be cast in the film Muppet Treasure Island.

In the last few years, he could be seen in Song Machine: Machine Bitez, Flack, Miracle Workers, and In the Long Run.

Bhavna Limbachia

Limbachia will be familiar to Coronation Street fans, starring as Rana Habeeb up until she departed from the series in 2019.

She was also in Citizen Khan, Cuffs, and Horrible Histories. 

Sarah Parish

Parish has starred in a wide variety of projects including Industry, W1A, Bancroft, Medici, The Cockfields, and Trollied.

Gemma Whelan

Best known as Yara Greyjoy in Game of Thrones, Whelan is also known for her work in Upstart Crow, Killing Eve, and White House Farm.

Sir Derek Jacobi

The first actor to appear in Inside No 9 twice, Sir Derek Jacobi could recently be heard as the narrator of The Lost Pirate Kingdom.

He has also appeared in films such as Gladiator, Gosford Park, Dead Again and Anonymous.

Inside No 9 season six is available to watch weekly on BBC Two from May 10 at 9.30pm.
