Former Hollyoaks star Malique Thompson-Dwyer is set to make a return to Hollyoaks, it is claimed.
The Prince McQueen actor has not been seen on the soap since 2019 after he left to pursue a career in reality television and has since appeared on Celebs Go Dating and I'm A Celeb.
Prince left the village to travel the world in 2019 after the shock death of his wife Lily McQueen from sepsis.
But Malique's character will be making an explosive comeback in the next few months and is set this week to film his comeback scenes, it is reported.
A source told The Sun: “Prince’s return is going to be exciting and a must-see for fans.
“He left heartbroken and grieving over Lily but when he returns he’s made his peace with what happens and he’s moved on.
“He’ll get stuck into the thick of things in true Prince style.”
As he left the village Prince looked back at it and said: "I'll never forget you, Lily."
In an interview, Malique hinted Prince could make a return to the show, saying: "The door is open. My character is still alive so you never know!"

Channel 4 and Malique's representative have been contacted about rumours he is returning to the show for comment.

Speaking directly to his fans, the former I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star said: "Yo, I've just come on here to give a quick message.
"Just want to say I apologise to anyone who I offended.
"But yeah let me get one thing straight… I've got family members that have actually passed away from this coronavirus. So yo, I am in this as well. So don't go on at me like I am not in this as well."
Malique continued: "But it's funny how everyone is never saying anyone positive about me. It's always bad boy Malique this…
"They never want to say anything positive and it's funny because at least I am not out there p***ing on war memorials. Racist c***s."
Over the previous weekend Malique shared footage believed to be taken at an illegal day rave in in Manchester's Daisy Nook Park.
