Gogglebox star Stephen Webb is unrecognisable after slick haircut transformation

Stephen Webb has unveiled his new haircut – and fans are loving it.

The Gogglebox favourite has been branded a "silver fox" after taking the clippers to his usually long, flowing locks.

He lay back on the sofa, cracking a charming smile for the camera while playing with his beloved dogs.

"Oodles of poodles #poodleofinstagram #poodlecuddles," was all he wrote in the caption.

"Loving the shorter hair, a bit of silver fox also," one enamoured follower commented.

"Your hair is much better like that really suits you," another complimented.

A third branded Stephen "so handsome" while a fourth just wrote "the hair" alongside a string of heart emojis.

Fans were left unsure earlier this month when he announced he intended to shave off most of his famously floppy hair, before hairdresser Stephen revealed the final result and proved them wrong.

It's grown out slightly in the weeks since from its former buzz cut self, but his followers hope he means to keep it short and sweet.

Stephen appears on Gogglebox with hubby Daniel Lustig and their dogs, and has become known for some truly iconic lines over the years.

They marked their two-year wedding anniversary over the summer with a series of sweet throwback snaps.

Stephen and Daniel tied the knot in a beautiful 2018 ceremony at Chateau de Lisse in Lot-et-Garonne, France.

One showed them posing with matching umbrellas, while in another they were all smiles walking down the aisle hand-in-hand, as friends and family cheered and applauded.

"Happy anniversary to my wonderful husband," Daniel had written, "Two years ago we were getting married with all our friends and family . You are my rock love you #teamlustigwebb all the way @stephengwebb1971#anniversary#husbandsofinstagram#chateaudelisse."

Stephen had previously appeared on Gogglebox with ex Chris Butland-Steed, but after their split Stephen's mum Pat briefly appeared.

Daniel became a series regular in 2018.
