Thomas Markle has faced backlash after appearing on Good Morning Britain today.
Meghan's dad revealed that TV interviews are his 'only way of communicating with his daughter', when he appeared on the show, as well as talking about taking legal action on his daughter.
Opening the interview with Meghan's father, Richard Madeley said: "It's sad, but TV interviews are the only way you can communicate with her [Meghan], am I right in saying that?"
To which Thomas responded: "I've made it quite clear that until I hear from her, until she does speak to me that I will continue to do this."
Viewers slammed Meghan's father for appearing on the show, with many questioning his motive for doing so.
One said: "There's something quite tone deaf about Thomas Markle. Surely you'd know that your daughter has cut you off because you keep bashing her to the press? How can you be that unaware?"
While another penned: "Thomas Markle needs to shut up. I'm getting bored of him."
A third then wrote: "I have made a complaint and will be complaining directly to @ITV @GMB also. Thomas markle needs to stop being invited on British telly to BULLY his daughter who does not live here."

A fourth shared her own story: "I stopped speaking to my biological dad as a teenager he left when I was 1, I got fed up of trying to see him. He turned up after I had my kids, there was no way I was putting my kids through the same, im not sure what he's trying to prove he's begging airtime. It's not the way."
With one person replying in defence of Thomas Markle: "Sorry to hear about your story. However, Thomas Markle was a constant positive presence in Meghan’s life right up until she decided he was of no use to her."

But some were sympathetic towards the granddad who is still yet to meet his two grandkids, with one Twitter user penning: "#gmb Poor #thomasmarkle , look at & listen to him – he's old & ill & probably will be dead soon. For crying out loud – let him see his grandkids."
This comes as Thomas Markle revealed on GMB that he had previously considered taking legal action against Meghan and her husband so he could see his two grandchildren Archie and Lilibet.
