Geordie Shore spin-off in chaos as crew member tests positive for coronavirus

A crew member from Geordie Shore 's spin-off show has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.

According to The Sun, filming for Geordie Reacts is said to have been put on hold due to the Covid-19 scare.

It's been reported that the MTV hit, which includes stars from the famous MTV hit, is offering coronavirus tests to everyone working on the show.

An insider explained: "Social distancing measures were in place. However, some on the show are now asking if it returned to filming too early."

The crew member tested positive for the days after two days of shooting came to an end on the Geordie Reacts series.

The spin-off sees the Geordie Shore stars watching back jaw-dropping moments from the series, Gogglebox-style.

It is thought that the celebrities were not in close contact and that the crew members who were are now self-isolating.

Daily Star Online has contacted reps for MTV and the show's maker Lime Pictures.

The 21st series of Geordie Shore started filming in October 2019, but, like almost all TV series, it was halted by the coronavirus lockdown.

It was reported earlier this year that Geordie Shore stars Charlotte Crosby and Holly Hagan would be appearing in the second series of Geordie Reacts.

This isn't the only Geordie Shore themed show fans can look forward to, as Geordie Shore: Their Story, will visit the highs and lows of those who have found fame and love on the show.
