Gemma Collins commands attention in bizarre bright 'panto style' cape at the Chelsea Flower show

GEMMA Collins made sure all eyes were on her as she attended the Chelsea Flower show today – thanks to a bizarre outfit.

The 40-year-old – who is hoping to land her own gardening show – channelled a pantomime star as she swanned in wearing a huge yellow bejewelled cape with a large collar.

Her blonde hair was swept off her face in a bouffant style up-do and she added dramatic winged eyeliner.

The reality TV favourite was spotted quaffing champagne and coo-ing over someone’s baby before checking out the floral displays.

Gemma previously revealed she intends to spread the word about wanting a programme to showcase her green fingered skills at the Chelsea Flower Show today by networking with TV execs.

She said: “I desperately want a gardening show. I know you all love me for the reality, but actually youngsters need to know the power of gardening and how much it can bring to your life.

“I’ve been very busy in the garden and I can’t wait to get to the Chelsea Gardening Show.

"Who knows? I could have my own patch there one day with my own fabulous magical garden.”

Before arriving at the star-studded show, Gemma revealed her excitement and told her followers she now only wears sustainable clothes.

Chatting in the car, she told her followers: “This is the one event I have been counting down the days for. I am so excited.

“I just can’t wait to be immersed in beauty and the gardens.

“I’ve had my hair done, my make-up done, I have got an amazing sustainable outfit. I am all about sustainability.

“Everyone, only wear clothes that have come from sustainable forces. If it ain’t sustainable, I ain’t wearing it.”

She reiterated her point in a lengthy Instagram post – telling everyone how important it is for the future.
