Emmerdale spoilers: Trial drama, teen romance and two death traumas
Crime and punishment is the order of the day in next week’s Emmerdale as Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) hopes for justice in court.
Naomi Anderson (Karene Peter) is standing trial, alongside Saskia and the other girls responsible for Nicola’s attack.
After outbursts on the stand, Nicola is fearful that things won’t go her way, but she vows to get justice regardless.
Meanwhile, already in prison is Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), who is looking at the rest of his life behind bars.
Can Moira (Natalie J Robb) stand by him at their hardest hour?
Monday November 7
There are emotional times in the Dales as Moira is heartbroken and Cain feels helpless following Al’s death.
Elsewhere the stakes are growing for Nicola and Kim is relieved at how things have worked out.
Tuesday November 8
Nate admits to Naomi that he slept with Tracy.
Manpreet makes a bad situation much worse by trying to manipulate Nicola into speaking favourably about Naomi in court.
Kim is happy she has got her family back again as she offers Dawn and Billy free lodgings. Chuffed, Billy and Dawn accept.
Wednesday November 9
Naomi is blindsided when Saskia’s barrister argues the defendants were no longer friends with Naomi after an altercation over money. It’s suggested that Naomi feels ostracised from the gang and this is why she has dragged the defendants into this mess.
Naomi’s barrister also runs rings around Nicola on the stand, highlighting to the jury that her case against Naomi is lacking credible evidence.
Meanwhile, April confides in Cathy.
Thursday November 10
When the defence barrister gives Naomi a hard time in her cross examination, Naomi erupts with upset and outrage as she comes clean about Saskia’s threats.
Saskia retaliates but immediately regrets her loss of control.
April is hurt when Cathy’s plan to get her and Arthur together backfires and Arthur bolts from the cafe to do his homework.
Friday November 11
Chas announces that she has finally dropped Faith’s ashes off at the factory to become a firework.
Meanwhile, having collected Liv’s ashes, Vinny sits with Chip feeling lost and depressed as he comes to the realisation that Liv is never coming back.
Naomi receives the verdict is she going down?
