It appeared Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Kim Tate (Claire King) were preparing to become partners in crime in yesterday’s Emmerdale, but it was in tonight’s episode that things changed once more, as desperate Mackenzie developed a plan to rob Home Farm.
Kim was impressed by Mack’s resourcefulness recently, and formed a plan with him to destroy Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) after Kim discovered what Cain’s confrontation with Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) was about.
After thanking Mackenzie for looking after Jamie while Kim was away, it seemed these two were ready to join forces and see an end to Cain, but an ever-changing Mack changed the plan again after he didn’t get what he wanted.
Mack’s crimes so far have been all about one thing: money.
He began working for Kim and managed to gather Cain’s account details, but when Kim told Mack he wouldn’t get paid until Cain and Moira (Natalie J Robb) got what was coming to them, he was left annoyed once more.
Kim told Mack to leave, but he managed to trick Kim and hide in her house, overhearing her talk with Jamie about her being out at a dinner, which subsequently created the perfect plan for Mack to rob the safe that included Cain’s account details.
Mack has turned his back on Kim and recruited Charity (Emma Atkins) again, but will this robbery be a success? And how will Kim react when she discovers what Mackenzie has done?
Furthermore, what will Mackenzie’s long-term plan be if the robbery on Home Farm works?
