Coronation Street fans have been left thrilled after Nina Lucas told Asha Alahan that she was ready to give their romance another go.

The duo has been working together to try and get justice for Nina's dead boyfriend Seb Franklin, who was murdered by Corey Brent (Maximus Evans), who is set to exit the soap soon.

During Friday night's episode they got a major breakthrough when they handed Corey's bloodied clothes to the police, and it seems it put Nina in a more positive mood.

Nina (Mollie Gallagher) and Asha (Tanisha Gorey) spoke in Seb's memorial garden afterwards, and she said: "I forgot how much I enjoyed being with you."

Viewers were happy with the romantic reunion, as the girls were all smiles.

One said: "I love Asha and Nina so much."

Another fan wrote: "Nina and Asha are officially back together. I'm glad."

A third said: "OMG, as if Nina and Asha have just got back together – this has been so long."

Someone else tweeted: "Nina and Asha. Oh my heart."

A fifth added: "Yay none socially distanced scenes for Nina and Asha!"

While a sixth said: "Nina and Asha are getting back together. I'm so happy."

Nina told Asha: "I've messed you about enough and Seb… Seb was special, he really cared about me so much, that he'd want me to be happy again.

"And I think I could be happy with you."

When Asha realised Nina was saying she wanted to give things another go, she said: "Only if you're sure.

"I don't want to take advantage or rush you into it or anything."

But Nina soon reassured her as she said: "I think you've waited long enough."

The young ladies could then be seen holding hands in the garden – but what's to come next?
