Corrie and Emmerdale star rushed son to hospital after illness worsens

Coronation Street and Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon has updated fans on her son’s progress after rushing him to hospital on Wednesday (May 19).

Hayley – who played Del Dingle in Emmerdale and also Andrea Beckett in Coronation Street – had to take her 20 month-old son Jasper back to the hospital just days after his first visit.

Updating fans on her Instagram Stories, she wrote: ‘Ended up in hospital
again today with a very poorly boy. He got better only to get get worse again.

Thank you to the amazing staff @SalfordRoyalNHS .. we are so lucky to
have the #nhs.’

The actress revealed last week that Jasper had been ill for two weeks but after a trip to the hospital and some antibiotics, he regained his appetite.

She explained in a social media post: ‘I’ve taken a break from social media for a while for a few personal reasons.. one of those being that jasper was really poorly. He’s on the mend now thank god but for 2 weeks he’s not been well at all, bless him, and we ended up in hospital one night.

He’s on antibiotics now and is much better. During that time he wouldn’t eat anything, and didn’t want the boob.. since he’s got better he just wants to bite it!’

Hayley has Jasper with her fiancé Adrian and previously said that becoming pregnant was the ‘most unexpected news’ after suffering a miscarriage.
