Coronation Street is about to air another devastating blow for Eileen Grimshaw (played by Sue Cleaver) just one year after the Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre) ordeal.
She thought she’d found love with Jan Lozinski (Piotr Baumann), but it seems there could be heartbreak on the horizon.
He’s holding a secret and while it’s not crystal clear exactly what that is, the reveal will come in the middle of the modern slavery storyline.
However, will Eileen make it out of this one unharmed when she is forced to confront her lover?
In the coming week, Alina Pop’s (Ruxandra Projnicu) modern slavery storyline will unravel, according to Coronation Street’s official website via ITV.
Seb Franklin (Harry Visioni) discovers she isn’t being cared for and he tries to tell her friends and family.
What’s more, Jan seems to be spending more and more time with the human traffickers who are behind Alina’s misery.
When Seb confronts Jan, he has absolutely nothing to say, only denying any involvement at all.
However, the storyline keeps growing as Eileen decides to get to the bottom of the situation.
She heads to the nail salon Alina works at and demands answers from Jan, but also finds herself in the same room as Alina’s boss, Rachel and human trafficker, Nikolai.
Jan finally admits his secret and Eileen is devastated to discover she’s been duped again.

However, the drama doesn’t stop there as Eileen gets caught in the middle of a fight.
Jan and Nikolai clash as a brutal fight erupts.
Eileen’s phone is destroyed in the chaos of it all so she can’t get out of the nail salon.
Somehow, the police arrives but will the ordeal result in death and will Eileen get out unscathed?
Meanwhile, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) makes an evil decision as Nick Tilsley’s (Ben Price) fate is revealed.
Fans will recall David was sent to prison for the theft of Audrey Roberts’ (Sue Nicholls) money.
However, the actor who plays him think there’s still plenty of twists left in this tale.
He told Manchester Evening News: “I’d like to continue so that it’s a Cain and Abel story. That’s the beauty of the Platts. They can switch.”
With Nick solidly the evil brother, could he find himself at the mercy of David soon?
Coronation Street continues tonight on ITV at 7.30pm.
