Tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing saw The Wanted star Max hit the dance floor for a fast paced, 1920s-inspired American Smooth with Dianne Buswell. He was clearly very happy with his routine as once the dance came to an end, he could be heard swearing at his professional partner as he celebrated their performance.
Max appeared to shout: “F**king get in!” as his fellow cast mates could be heard screaming out in celebration.
Viewers rushed to Twitter to comment on Max’s supposed slip-up.
One fan tweeted: “Did Max just say what I think he said #Strictly.”
“Did Max just shout “f**king get in!!” a second posted.
A third added: “Definitely just rewound to see if Max said what I thought he said. He definitely said it #Strictly.”
“Max dropping the f bomb #Strictly,” someone else shared.
Another asked: “Did Max swear when he finished the dance? Haha #Strictly.”
While Max and Dianne were thrilled with their routine, the judges weren’t as impressed.
After JJ Chalmers and Amy Dowden performed and received their scores from the judges, Claudia Winkleman apologised.
“I also just want to apologise for some language earlier that involved Max,” she told viewers.
“I don’t know the details, I don’t know if you heard. If you did, we are deeply sorry.
“Even if you didn’t hear, we are sorry on every level.”

Giovanni Pernice girlfriend:When did Giovanni and Ashley Roberts date? [UPDATE]
Ahead of Saturday evening’s show, JJ Chalmers was the bookies favourite to be eliminated from the competition.
The TV presenter finds himself chalked up as the favourite to be axed next at 5/4, or there’s a 6/4 chance that Jamie Laing is voted off on Sunday evening.
8/1 says Ranvir Singh goes or it’s a 10/1 shot Max George is sent home this weekend.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the betting, Maisie has now regained the lead in the betting and is the 2/1 favourite to be crowned as this year’s queen of the dance floor. Bill follows behind at 9/4 with HRVY at 3/1.
And finally, the bookies make it just 5/4 that Strictly is cancelled before the end of the series should there be any more off-screen Covid-related problems.
Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “It’s a tight two-horse race between JJ and Jamie for this weekend’s eviction following Nicola’s unexpected exit on Thursday.”
She added: “At the moment the odds suggest the Scot will be waltzing out of the competition next.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday on BBC One at 7.10pm.
