Chef Adam Glick from 'Below Deck Med' Reuniting with His Dog Has All the Feels

Dogs miss their pup parent when they are away. So when Chef Adam Glick from Below Deck Mediterranean returned from being away at sea, his dog Tex was overwhelmed with excitement.

Glick explained on Instagram he had a yacht job, so Tex stayed with his family. And while Tex was extremely well cared for, it is clear who is his number one. Ever since Glick rescued Tex from the streets in Texas, the dog has literally been by his side.

Tex must be one happy pup and from the looks of Glick’s Instagram story, both Glick and Tex are overjoyed to be reunited.

Glick was away for almost two months

Even though Glick has been shooting his outdoor cooking series for Outside TV, he still takes on chef jobs. He recently posted about a gig in the Turks and Caicos. His Instagram story showed he may have been cooking at a private home for a few days.

But in May he hinted that he would be taking a job in Europe next. “One last drive through the redwoods and I’m off to Europe,” he wrote. “This one’s going to be a doozy.” Fans know that Glick and Tex actually live in his tricked out van and have been zigzagging their way across the country.

Once Glick arrived at his latest job, he offered a pretty awesome view, which was back in the Med. “Here’s a full moon over the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoying my last moments on solid ground before pushing off the dock. I’ll be cooking on a new boat with all sorts of new challenges this year. It’s going to be a crazy heeled over 50 day adventure and I couldn’t be more excited. Let’s go!”

He missed his buddy

Even though it appears Glick was enjoying an adventure of a lifetime, he still missed Tex. “Just doing some boat thangs,” he wrote along with a picture looking happy while at sea.”It’s hard to believe it’s been one month since I went out to sea. . . Happy to say I’ll be back on the adventure with my boy Tex in just two more weeks. And I absolutely cannot wait, I miss him so much!”

Glick also added another picture that showed part of the boat he was on. “Try cracking an egg into a pan on a tilt like this. Needless to say this season was the greatest cooking challenge of my life.”

He added, “There’s not a doubt in my mind I’m a better chef and person as a result of this experience. It’s finally time to head home, see my boy Tex, and spend time with family and friends.”

And Tex missed him too (a lot)

Glick posted a video where he is finally reunited with Tex. His Instagram story begins as his plane lands at his home base airport in San Francisco. “Home sweet home,” he wrote.

But the story wraps up with someone shooting a video of Tex racing from the front door of Glick’s family’s home when Glick appears in the driveway. The dog is beside himself, trying to run faster to get to his pup papa. Glick attempts to take his own photo of his best friend but the dog is too overwhelmed and must have Glick’s complete attention.

Tex gleefully barks. The dog reaches up as though trying to hug Glick as the two fall to the ground in a touching embrace. Glick is giddy seeing his buddy as he giggles at how happy his dog is to see him. Another family dog joins the reunion with tails wagging. Wait, I’m not crying, you’re crying.
