Tipping Point presenter Ben Shephard has let slip a behind the scenes secret about the programme.
The 46-year-old media personality, who is also know for presenting ITV's Good Morning Britain, regularly responds to fans messages on Twitter.
During one of his recent social media sprees, Ben exposed an interesting behind the scenes filming secret about the counter's used on the programme.
Shephard responded to a fan who wanted him to settle a dispute about the famous counters used in the Tipping Point machine.
The viewer had tweeted Ben and asked: "Hi @benshephard please could you settle an argument for us?
"My partner said the coins make the tinkly noise as they fall, whereas I think there's a man pressing a button when he sees them fall to add it on after, who is right? (And who does that job??!!)"
The presenter responded to the tweet with a laughing face emoji as he replied: "the counters are plastic – they def make a noise but it’s not metallic!!"
Tipping Point fans were left perplexed as host Shephard asked an unusually easy question during Friday's episode.
The GMB host asked the four contestants to name the country that the city of Nottingham is in.
Fans were perplexed at the easy question, with some even thinking Ben had read it wrong.
One viewer moaned: "Which country is Nottingham in? That's a new low for #tippingpoint questions."
Another said: "Ben read the question wrong, it was 'which county is Nottingham in?' #tippingpoint."
"Shout out for Nottingham there. Yay #tippingpoint", penned a third.
