Aaron throws Liv out in Emmerdale as she rails he 'killed his first boyfriend'

Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) was left homeless in Emmerdale tonight, after Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) threw her out following a cruel rant in which she railed that he ‘killed his first boyfriend.’

The mainstay of the ITV soap, who is battling an addiction to alcohol, was left upset following Mandy’s (Lisa Riley) meddling in her relationship with Vinny (Bradley Johnson).

Viewers will know that Mandy, desperate to keep Liv away from her son, claimed that Vinny was seeing Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper), before insinuating that Vinny was unhappy with Liv due to her asexuality.

Heartbroken, Liv stole a condom from Aaron’s wallet, and set in motion an afternoon with Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), claiming that she could ‘make him feel better’ in the wake of Leanna Cavanagh’s (Mimi Slinger) death.

Jacob was confused, as Liv started to undress in front of him. He told her to put her clothes back on at once, telling her that she shouldn’t feel pressured into having sex if she doesn’t want to do.

Aaron returned home to find Liv in a state of undress, and berated her once more.

Liv, however, retaliated with some incredibly cruel words.

‘Like you’re some saint!,’ she said. ‘Like you’ve not done anything wrong. Except kill your first boyfriend!’

Aaron was rendered speechless. Liv is referring to the death of Jackson Walsh (Marc Silcock), who was instrumental in Aaron’s coming out storyline back in 2010.

Jackson was paralysed after a train accident, and he later asked mum Hazel Rhodes (Pauline Quirke) and Aaron to help him end his own life.

Liv, meanwhile, continued to berate Aaron, as she claimed that lover Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) would’ve been better off if he’d never met him.

Unwilling to listen to any more of her vile abuse, Aaron kicked her out.

Liv banged on the door, pleading for Aaron to let her back in. The question is: will he do so?

Emmerdale continues Thursday August 12 at 7pm on ITV.
