‘Piers Morgan and Farage clash screams of desperation’ says Ryan-Mark Parsons

This week's new has been dominated by the US Presidential Election, with shows such as Good Morning Britain dedicating plenty of time to the battle between Trump and Biden.

The Apprentice star Ryan-Mark Parsons tuned in to witness Nigel Farage and GMB host Piers Morgan going head-to-head, and has plenty to say.

Taking a step away from anything political, Ryan-Mark is once again putting the Kardashian-Jenner clan under the magnifying glass – but he can't defend their latest controversy.

And, in what is perhaps one of the most shocking things from this week's television, the young entrepreneur has his say on fan-favourite Lottie Bedlow being eliminated from The Great British Bake Off.

Piers Morgan and Nigel Farage’s bleach bust-up

Two of Trump’s best buddies in the UK clashed live on Good Morning Britain this week, with Nigel Farage accusing Piers Morgan of spreading “fake news”.

It’s a bit like the popular child at school fighting off two desperate attention-seeking friends… enough!

Things got very fiery when Morgan accused President Trump of mishandling the pandemic in America; speaking specifically about the President encouraging the American people to inject "bleach" to treat the coronavirus.

Morgan continued to press Farage, repeatedly showing clips of Trump in April speaking about the use of disinfectant to treat the virus.

Farage retorted by saying Morgan was “sinking to the gutter” and calling his GMB appearance the “lowest grade interview” in 20 years.

Oh come on Nigel, you thrive off this publicity and it’s the only reason you have a career right now.

Farage ardently defended the President, completely discounting claims being raised by Morgan and finding every reason to defend Trump.

Perhaps Farage is looking to become the next press secretary?

This desperation to justify the lunacy of the President is bizarre and unexplainable beyond reason.

Quite frankly, Trump is an utter narcissist.

He doesn’t care about Farage, he’s just another loudmouthed minion prepared to defend the Presidency and boost Trump’s ego slightly.

I salute Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid for pressing Farage on this issue—the handling of the virus outbreak in the US has been nothing short of abysmal.

Kendall Jenner’s non-Covid-friendly party disgrace

  • Kris Jenner's hottest snaps as the ageless beauty celebrates turning 65

I usually defend the Kardashians and have done so many times in this column.

They’re usually unfairly bashed; berated and humiliated by the public and press and it’s not always for the right reasons.

However, after seeing the plethora of social media snaps from Kendall’s Halloween party, with attendees including The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Saweetie (yeah, I don’t know either) and the other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, I cannot defend them anymore.

  • Kylie Jenner looks totally unrecognisable in first Instagram snap shared in 2011

What were they thinking? No social distancing. No masks. Mixed households.

Do A-list celebrities think they’re above the virus?

We’ve all made sacrifices, for example, Kim bravely took friends and family to a private island in French Polynesia, for crying out loud!

But on a serious note, their lack of effort to prevent the spread of the virus is shameful and heartless.

Thousands of Americans dead, but they don’t care so long as they’re having a good time, get good Instagram pictures and publicity, nothing else should matter – according to them anyway.

This is wholeheartedly wrong.

Kris Jenner, the self-proclaimed "Momager" of the family, came to Kendall’s rescue saying in an interview with Andy Cohen she’s “very sensitive to what’s going on”.

It’s not like the news hasn’t been dominated by the virus, and over 200,000 Americans have died at the hands of the disease!

Oh no.

That is America’s reality and idiots like Kendall Jenner are going to make it worse for innocent families trying their best to protect vulnerable loved ones.

Unbelievably, orange cards were placed around tables reminding guests not to post any pictures on social media.

It’s beyond laughable.

Of course, the likes of Kylie Jenner and the other brainless imps put everything online and ruined Kendall’s plans to conceal the party from the media and therefore avoid this backlash she deserves every bit of.

Shame on all of them.

GBBO controversial departure – bye Lottie!

  • Bake Off's Paul Hollywood removes ex-wife as company director 3 years after split

The Great British Bake Off is the warm and friendly show we all crave in these autumnal evenings… until now!

Viewers are enraged following the most recent departure of contestant Lottie Bedlow, resulting in social media uproar with many people calling the decision “unfair”.

It happened to be one of the hottest days of the year, and the contestants were asked to make ice cream cakes.

  • Bake Off fans floored as they find out Noel Fielding is older than Matt Lucas

  • GBBO viewers horrified as 'sweaty' Paul Hollywood talks 'peeling his jeans off'

Yes, you saw it right.

You can just imagine the producers waking up in the morning, checking their weather app and deciding, 'We’re going to make this challenge virtually impossible.'

Tuesday’s episode was all about the 1980s, and bakers created quiches, custard and jam finger doughnuts and an array of other 80s-inspired baking goods to be judged.

The decision was between Lottie and fellow baker Laura Adlington, of course Lottie leaving the tent in the end.

She was favourite to win the show and left the tent in a stream of tears, which of course triggered Twitter, and users made claims to boycott the show and began trolling fellow baker Laura.

One viewer said: “Laura f***ing up and making yet another mistake on the preview for next week’s episode. What a surprise."

Making others wonder why Laura was saved, another asked: “Why does Laura keep getting saved? She doesn’t deserve to be there!"

If you’re that worried about who’s leaving a baking show, get your priorities sorted.

I always wonder how so many losers sitting in their mother’s dungeons can write impassioned tweets about TV shows and get so emotionally invested in their stars.

It’s a genuine curiosity of mine ever since starring on The Apprentice, facing vast backlash nearly every week for two months.

The barrage of abuse Laura received from trolls exemplifies the hypocrisy and shallowness of social media; not so long ago the same viewers were tweeting #BeKind, which proved to be a baseless virtual signalling trend that lasted as long as Lottie in GBBO.

Time to grow up.
