Paul Grant has revealed that he'd been "drinking too much" – just weeks before he tragically died aged 56.

The Harry Potter star admitted to boozing and blowing his money on sex workers and drugs during an interview at London's King's Cross station last month.

The Star Wars actor declared during the chat that that day was his "last day of drinking" and that he needed to "stop doing this."

The father of three sadly died last Thursday (March 17) after being rushed to hospital, having collapsed suddenly outside the same station.

His life support machine was eventually switched off on Sunday (19 March) his family revealed but his cause of death has not yet been announced.

Speaking to YouTube channel Revelation 22:13, he said: "I've been thinking about this, it's my last day of drinking,"

"I've been drinking too much," Paul added before admitting that he "had money" from his work but had spent it all.

He then said that he "enjoyed his life" and joked: "You only live once, don't ya?"

When asked if he was battling with alcohol or drug addiction, he reiterated: "I can drink a whole f***ing day or a month, but I'm not addicted to it."

Previously speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Paul opened up on the amount of times he'd gone AWOL and blamed himself for the collapse of his marriage.

"I need help. I've been on cocaine and it has just got worse. I'm drinking and smoking what I can get,"

"I had a family, I was married, now I'm divorced. I've lost everything. I've not got anything, my things, pictures, clothes are all over the place," he said.

"I don't know what I want at the moment. I had money, I blew it all, I spent it on drugs and prostitutes."

Paul famously played Ewok in Return of the Jedi alongside Hollywood stars Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill. He also starred in Harry Potter as a goblin.
