Miley Cyrus refuses to perform at VMAs 2019 after Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber nomination

The Wrecking Ball songstress has released a string of eligible videos including her provocative clip for Mother’s Daughter.

However, while none of her clips made the short list, the pop princess is apparently raging after Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s video for I Don’t Care was given a nod.

The clip was controversially shot on a green screen and sees the duo sporting kooky digitally imposed costumes.

“No f***ing way”

Taking to Instagram, a Miley Cyrus fan shared a snap of the chart-topper along with the caption: “Guess I’m not watching this year, unless Miley performs.”

Seeing the post, Miley replied: “No f***ing way.”

Joining in the conversation, another supporter replied: “They care more about a f***ing green screen than a message to the world.

“Nominate alone but at least do not use the image of Miley to promote their damn prizes.”

Agreeing, Miley simply replied: “Exactly.”

This year’s VMAs will take place on August 26 in New Jersey.

Comedian and actor Sebastian Maniscalco will host the show.

Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift lead nominations after bagging an impassive 10 nominations each.
