Maura Higgins addressed Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea's shock split on the red carpet at last night's TV Choice Awards.
The former Love Islander, who met the Geordie beauty on this year's series, explained the newly-single beauty therapist is a "strong woman" following her break-up, a mere 39 days after the show wrapped.
Amber and Greg were crowned Love Island 2019 winners, and both decided to split the £50,000 cash prize.

Speaking about the split before the event, Maura said: "You know what, Amber is such a strong girl.
"I don't think Amber needs much advice, she's very strong.
"She is a strong, independent woman and she will be absolutely fine."

"I wanted to make it work, but it is what it is really.
"There was a call a few days prior, just chatting."
