Louise Redknapp gushes she’s ‘so proud’ of her son after Jamie’s third baby news

Louise Redknapp has taken to social media to announce how proud she is of her eldest son Charley during the Bank Holiday weekend – as her ex husband Jamie also posted online about their lad too.

This follows bombshell news that Louise's ex-husband Jamie, who she shares two sons with, is expecting a baby with his girlfriend Frida Andersson – after Frida herself seemed to confirm the news on Instagram.

Louise, 46, and Jamie, 47, divorced after 19 years of marriage in December 2017, and both celebrity parents share 16-year-old Charley and Beau, 12, who divide their time between Jamie and Louise's houses.

The former footballer is set to welcome his third child with his new model girlfriend Frida, 37, who currently has four children of her own.

This comes after Louise previously hinted that she may struggle with co-parenting duties if Jamie moved on after their divorce – admitting that maybe their parenting works so well because neither of them had been in a relationship.

Both Jamie and Louise took to Instagram over the weekend to compliment their eldest son Charley's sporting achievements.

Charley, who plays rugby for Epsom College Rugby Football Club, was pictured in action whilst playing for his team.

Both parents were quick to make their pride clear and public on Instagram over the weekend, posting about Charley's rugby success to their thousands of followers.

Posting the sporty snap of Charley, proud mum Louise wrote: "So proud of my boy."

Using the same photo, happy dad Jamie also paid tribute to Charley saying: "My guy."

New couple Jamie and Frida have been romantically linked since August last year, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength after spending lockdown together.

Jamie has also turned his former bachelor pad in Surrey into a family-friendly home – with the spacious property boasting a ping-pong table and huge home cinema.

He also praised Louise for doing a "great job" of co-parenting their two boys Charley and Beau – after speaking to Hello! Magazine last month and saying that they "try to be tough but fair" as parents.

Louise and Jamie's marriage breakdown took place only months after her stint on Strictly Come Dancing – and in March the mum said her children were her "saviours" after her divorce.

Appearing on BBC's The One Show, she said: "I was going through a hard time and I think what I did learn is you do have to get broad shoulders in life sometimes.

“Surround yourself with good people, keep your chin up and just keep on going.

“My boys were an absolute saviour, and my mum."
