Holly Willoughby wows This Morning fans in paper-thin blouse and elegant skirt

Holly Willoughby has a reputation as something of a style icon, coining the hashtag "HW style" and sharing her outfit posts to Instagram each morning to help her fans achieve her look.

Tuesday's get-up was a ray of sunshine in the This Morning studios, as the presenter, 40, exuded summery elegance in a dappled wraparound skirt.

Splashed with painterly shades of green and lavender, the skirt was from Belgian fashion brand Essentiel Antwerp, who are known for their zingy colour combinations.

Holly paired the skirt with a classic white blouse from Boden, which buttoned up at the front and featured rolled-up sleeves.

Nude suede heels and a dash of fuchsia lipstick completed the look, as Holly swept her hair to one side in a platinum blonde bob.

Sharing the snap to Instagram, Holly let fans know what to expect from the episode ahead, writing: "Morning Tuesday… today we are Cushing watermelons with our thighs and chatting to @dreamboys …

"Standard morning on @thismorning … see you at 10am."

The wraparound skirt was a hit with fans, as one took to the comment section to write: "That skirt screams holiday vibes, love it ! have the best day."

"Love the Gaugin inspired skirt," said another, comparing the print to the work of French Post-Impressionist artist Paul Gaugin.

Holly has been keeping busy recently, spending her days working on her new book Reflections, which will see her offer tips on everything from boosting your self-confidence to reclaiming your sexuality.

Last Saturday, Holly grafted on the final edits of the book while sunbathing in her garden, telling fans: "Saturday's in the sunshine… it doesn't get any better…

"Using the time to make the final edits to my book ‘Reflections'… going through the manuscript, adding, clarifying, tweaking… getting it just perfect for you… not too much longer now…"

Holly first revealed she was working on the book back in May, describing her approach to discussing the world of beauty, drawing from her experience of two decades before the cameras.

"The book is called Reflections and is essentially thoughts and musings from me on inner and outer beauty.

"We live in a world where so much is about how we present ourselves on the outside and there is fun to be had here but true beauty comes from within… there is an alignment that needs to happen and finding that balance hasn’t always felt so easy."

Currently available on preorder, the hardback will be available to buy this October.
