Conor Maynard’s nan tells him to go film porn if music ‘doesn’t work out’

Conor Maynard's nan has advised him to go into the porn industry if his music career fails to keep him in the black.

The 28-year-old singer, who first found fame in 2012 after signing to Warner Music Group in 2011, said his nan made the suggestion after seeing his swanky new pad.

Conor took to Instagram to show off his new home which appeared to be the ultimate bachelor pad.

Sporting pink mood lighting and a giant flatscreen TV, the flashy home appeared to give his gran ideas.

Uploading a video of his living room to show his 2.1million followers, Conor wrote: "Sent a video to my nan and she said 'you could film porn in there if singing doesn't work out' so that's cool."

Conor's last Top 40 hit in the UK was in October 2013 with R U Crazy.

Since then, despite releasing a string of singles, he has failed to capitalise on his former chart success.

In May this year, Conor and his YouTuber brother Jack Maynard – who briefly appeared on I'm A Celeb in 2017 – hit the headlines for seemingly breaking lockdown rules.

In footage obtained by The Sun, online star Jack was seen chatting away with friends at a 12-strong indoor party .

Meanwhile, singer Conor was seen performing Labrinth hit Jealous sat at a keyboard.

Reps for the brothers declined to comment at the time.

Conor previously revealed he's been left "pretty lonely" after being booted off dating apps Tinder and Hinge.
