Aaron Carter breaks down in tears as he welcomes son with fiancée Melanie Martin after she undergoes an "emergency C-section after 13 hours of labour."
The singer gushed to his social media fans as he announced that he has become a dad.
The 33-year-old revealed his new son is called, Prince Lyric Carter.
He penned: "Emergency C Section after 13 hours of labour but my [fiancée] is in great health thank you lord and the incredibly sweet loving staff here.
"Prince is precious I love you son. Your mommy loves you as I drop tears on the phone. This is me cutting his umbilical cord my precious family #TheCarters."
Aaron concluded his post by admiring how "beautiful" Melanie is.
He wrote: "@missmelaniemartin I’m so proud of you hunny you did it. I Love you with all my heart my beautiful blessings from god."
According to TMZ, Melanie faced many tricky struggles as she went into labour.
A source said: "The baby was in breech position — feet first — for the first 6 months of the pregnancy.”
The birth of the couples new son comes 17 months after they announced having a miscarriage.
During a YouTube livestream, Aaron said: "She suffered a miscarriage due to stress conditions.
“We’re gonna give it some time, let her heal and then we’re going to try again. We both want that. I gotta take care of her.
