Little Prince Louis is 'ready' to take on a big role like siblings George and Charlotte, according to royal commentators.
The toddling one-year-old, who celebrated his birthday in April, is tipped to play a starring part at his uncle James Middleton's wedding.
The fifth-in-line to the throne could be a pageboy at the nuptials, while sister Princess Charlotte, four, may potentially be a flower girl and Prince George, six, also a pageboy.
The older siblings have already had the opportunity to shine at previous weddings, including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's, and Princess Eugenie's.
However Louis was considered to be too young for both of the nuptials.
And although details of 32-year-old entrepreneur James' wedding to 29-year-old City worker girlfriend Alizee Thevenet have not been revealed, it is believed his niece and nephews will play a big part.
Louis, the third child of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, is already walking and commentators from the Royally Obsessed podcast have complete faith he will be ready to take on the role next year.
Princess Beatrice, 31, will also marry her partner Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony which the royal children are likely to be involved in
Speaking on Royally Obsessed, Kaitlin Menza said: “It’s a reminder that we’re running out of royal weddings so I’m very happy these two are coming up.
“Beatrice’s and James Middleton’s but that’s it.
“I hope James’ is on the scale of Pippa's in that we get to see all the images at the church so we feel included.”
Lisa Ryan added: “Of course and maybe his little nieces and nephews will be getting involved as pageboys and bridesmaids.”
Ms Menza said: “Louis! He’s walking now but I think he will be ready for that kind of role by next year.
“I have faith in him. I think he will.”
