My husband spends a fortune on X-rated sites but denies he has a porn problem

Yet when I challenge him about it, he says: “They just appear on my phone.”

I’m not a fool.

I know he’s got an obsession with these women who strip off for money.

The problem got worse in lockdown and as soon as I am out of the room, he is logging on to one of these channels.

If I question him about his sky-high phone bill, he’s in denial.

He just says, “You’re weird” – as if it’s me with the problem.

How can I get through to him that he is wasting his money and has an addiction?

He’s 49 and I’m 51.

DEIDRE SAYS: His reaction when you confront him is “gaslighting” and must be upsetting.

But watching so much pornography – even soft porn – is training his body to respond to that, rather than to your touch.

Do you enjoy a healthy sex life together? If things could do with spicing up, ask him what he would enjoy – and you can tell him too.

My support pack Internet Pornography Worry explains more about how he can wean himself off these sites and back to you.
