Meghan Markle thanked supporters Wednesday after her debut children’s book, “The Bench,” became a New York Times best-seller.

In a message posted to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell website, Markle, 39, congratulated all involved with “The Bench” after it hit No. 1 on the New York Times’ list of best-selling children’s picture books following last week’s release.

“While this poem began as a love letter to my husband and son, I’m encouraged to see that its universal themes of love, representation and inclusivity are resonating with communities everywhere,” Markle said.

The Duchess of Sussex — who recently welcomed her second child, daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana, with Prince Harry — announced in May that a children’s book was on the way.

Illustrated by California artist Christian Robinson, “The Bench” depicts “the special relationship between father and son, as seen through a mother’s eyes,” according to the book’s description.

Markle added Wednesday, “In many ways, pursuing a more compassionate and equitable world begins with these core values. Equally, to depict another side of masculinity — one grounded in connection, emotion, and softness — is to model a world that so many would like to see for their sons and daughters alike.

“Thank you for supporting me in this special project,” she continued.

“The Bench,” which also features an illustration of the Sussexes’ baby girl, currently holds a five-star rating on Amazon with 680 reviews.

This week in the UK, however, “The Bench” failed to make the top 50 list, according to the Daily Mail.

In the days leading up to the release of “The Bench,” Markle and Harry, 36, announced baby Lili’s birth. Eighth in line to the throne, Lili joins big brother Archie, 2, stateside, as the couple currently reside in California post-Megxit.
