A glamorous influencer is earning a fortune by reviewing luxury cars online.
Alex Hirschi has been dubbed “Supercar Blondie” as she's often pictured with the most sought-after motors on Earth.
The 34-year-old, from Queensland, has always had a passion for vehicles and spending time on the road.
Her parents are keen drivers and they would often take her on 12-hour road trips across Australia.
So when she was 21-years-old, Alex decided to follow her dreams by moving to Dubai in 2008.
The journalist started out by working as a newsreader and presenter, before quitting in 2018 to pursue a full-time career on social media.
Alex started posting videos reviewing vehicles online – and soon realised there was a demand for the content.
She previously told FEMAIL: “Once the following started to grow, I moved from my personal account to create Supercar Blondie and uploaded pics exclusively around cars.
“Then it came to a point where I could do this full time. It was a big decision for me, jumping from traditional media to social media, but I knew it was the right move.”
The influencer has since amassed nine million fans on Instagram and a further 5.4 million followers on TikTok.
One of her most-viewed videos is a Reneault Trezor test drive, which has been watched a staggering 25.7 million times.
Nowadays, Alex produces content that showcases flashy Ferraris, Aston Martins and Rolls Royces.
And it’s not just luxury vehicles she gets to brush shoulders with.
The influencer has met celebrities like Fast and Furious actor Vin Diesel and Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul.
She’s even got to collaborate with The Stig from Top Gear, who she raced around a track with in Abu Dhabi.
Alex’s career is a lucrative one too.
Car rental website LeasingOptions estimates that she earns around $4.2 million AUD (around £2.3 million).
This has likely been raked in from sponsored posts, giveaways and collaborations on social media.
Other high-earning carfluencers include Daniel Mac, who has more than 8.4 million followers.
The star has gained a huge fanbase on TikTok by interviewing supercar owners.
He asks the strangers what they do for a living, before sharing the responses online.
