Wendy’s has returned to the UK for the first time in 20 years with a brand new branch in Reading.
The famous American brand is renowned for its square hamburgers and sea salt fries and is sure to be a big hit.
Wendy’s has more than 6,500 restaurants in the United States and 29 other countries.
They initially set up in the UK in the 1980s and 90s, but the chain closed down its outlets in 2001.
Expansion wasn’t possible at that point but now the fast food chain has its eye on knocking McDonald's off the favourites list by opening up to 400 outlets around the country.

Lucky Brits were given an insider peek at the new branch earlier this week.
The full menu was recently released and it looks like a whole host off classics will be on offer, including Dave's Single, the Baconator and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
Diners who are wanting animal-free dishes meanwhile will be able to choose from a number of items, such as the Veggie Stack, Veggie Bites and the Avocado Veggie Salad.
The Veggie stack is similar to meaty burgers in that it's served in a square, but it's made from grains, veggies and spices.
If none of those take your fancy, you can also try the Wendy's Baked Potatoes, Baconator fries or Wendy's iconic Chili con Carne.

A spokesperson for the company said: “Our first location is in Reading and we are exploring additional opportunities in the London area.
“The brand is excited to enter the UK with company-owned and operated restaurants this year, and we are looking for franchisees to grow with us across the United Kingdom.”
But where will you be able to snap up the Wendy’s goodies?
Well, you can only grab a bite at the Reading store right now, but two more locations coming towards the end of the year.

These locations will be Stratford and Oxford as well as more sites being explored, with a total of five opening this year.
