Carole Middleton has revealed that she has a ‘very silly Christmas’ in store for her grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s mother, 66, who lives in Berkshire with her husband Michael, took to Instagram and shared a snap of two Scandinavian-style gnomes sold by her celebration company, Party Pieces.

Alongside the festive photograph, she penned: ‘I’m going to need a few of these cheeky chaps this December, to hide around the house and make my grandchildren laugh. As much as I love immaculate decorations, we can’t be too serious at Christmas!’

Carole also posted a variety of different Christmas trends on her website Party Pieces, including ‘Silly Christmas.’

In addition to the festive gnomes, Carole’s Party Pieces website also sells Santa-shaped plates, inflatable snowmen and window stickers so that you can deck the halls in time for the festive season.

In December last year, Carole hinted at her choice of Christmas gifts for her family as she said the ‘smallest presents can give the most enjoyment.’

She recalled her children Kate, Pippa and James ‘found flexi-figures totally absorbing when they were young.’

Sharing a picture of some Christmas products from the brand, Carole said: ‘A good choice of stocking fillers can give one extra time, undisturbed in bed on Christmas Day. Invaluable!’

A month earlier Carole said Christmas Eve is a ‘special occasion in her family’ as she hinted at Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’ excitement over a visit from Santa Claus.

Posting on Instagram, she said children in her family ‘get sweetly excited by the idea that Father Christmas is coming, and really want to give him something’.

She also revealed she will decorate her Christmas tree over Zoom with her four grandchildren this year in a break from their usual tradition.
