Described as “packable, warm down-jackets for your feet”, SUBU.’s winter slippers are about as cozy as they come. Following the launch of the Japanese label’s extensive Fall/Winter 2021 collection, it’s now teamed up with London-based retailer Garbstore for a striking tie-dye iteration.
SUBU. — which is a shortened version of the Japanese expression sutto haku būtsu, which means slip-on shoes — was only founded in 2018, but has already garnered quite the reputation thanks to its warm, packable footwear.
Now, teaming up with Garbstore, the duo rework SUBU.’s epochal winter slipper with an eye-catching tie-dye pattern comprising “Galactic Blue” and “Purple Tones”. Made with a water-resistant Teflon upper which sits atop durable rubber outsoles, each slipper is finished off with subtle SUBU. branding and comes in a neat carry bag.
The Garbstore x SUBU. Winter Tie-Dye Sandals are available to buy now from the Garbstore, retailing at £45 (approximately $61 USD).
