Julianne Hough is heartbroken over the death of her two dogs

Julianne Hough has been left heartbroken over the death of her two dogs; Lexi and Harley.

The America’s Got Talent judge, 31, confirmed the sad news on Instagram a few days ago while paying tribute to her pet pups.

Lexi had been 11 and Harley had been eight when they passed away at the end of September.

Julianne remembered her pooches in a heartfelt Instagram post she shared a few days ago, that included a series of cute snaps of herself with Lexi and Harley.

She posted a lengthy message in honour of the dogs and thanked them for being ‘her babies’ and ‘teaching her how to be a mother’.

The Safe Haven actress wrote: ‘Pure love is real, it existed through us. My heart expanded and felt the truth of what is possible. I am forever grateful. Thank you for your love.’

She added: ‘Thank you for being my babies, my daughters, Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for teaching me how to be your mother. Thank you for allowing me to give and receive love. Thank you for your kisses. Thank you for your blessings every single minute of every single day.’

Julianne concluded her post by saying: ‘I’ve never experienced a love like ours. I miss you. I love you forever. Now You Are Free.’

The professional dancer received an outpouring of love and support from her pals and fans, including from her husband Brooks Laich.

They tied the knot two years ago in 2017 and despite being happily married, Julianne recently spoke candidly about her sexuality and insisted she ‘isn’t just straight’.

Chatting about her hubby, the star told Woman’s Health: ‘I [told him], “You know I’m not straight, right?” And he was like, “I’m sorry what?” ‘I was like, “I’m not. But I choose to be with you.”’

‘I think there’s a safety with my husband now that I’m unpacking all of this,’ Julianne said.

‘There’s no fear of voicing things that I’ve been afraid to admit or that I’ve had shame or guilt about because of what I’ve been told or how I was raised.’
