Check Out What's In Store At This Year's Motor Valley Fest

Having announced the event earlier this month, Motor Valley Fest is set to launch the third annual edition of its highly anticipated supercar celebration hosted in partnership with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Trade Agency and the Emilia-Romagna Region to promote the best businesses the country has to offer.

Taking center stage at this year’s event are Italian-born Ferrari, Maserati, Ducati, Lamborghini, Pagani, Dallara and Energica — exhibiting some of their most progressive automotive creations. Further to showcasing the best supercars from the industry, Motor Valley Fest has also constructed a new temporary racing track titled “Motor Valley Arena” as a tribute to Area 48 of the Bologna Motor Show. For the first time, all regional racetracks will be involved in the event, namely Misano Adriatico, Imola, Italian Motorcycle Speed Championship and the Varano de Melegari dedicated to Dallara race cars.

As well as motorsports, the jam-packed festival will host an extensive lineup of events across the city. As part of an agreement to promote Italian-made products, the weekend will showcase the best food and wine produced in the area as well as recognizing renowned brands from the Emilia-Romagna region.

Continuing to celebrate the country’s cultural contributions, expect to come across several functions highlighting Italy’s design achievements. These include a tribute to automotive craftsmanship at the church of Chiesa del Voto, an exhibition dedicated to works of artist Alessandro Rasponi and the “Accadde Oggi: Happy Birthday Made in Italy!” exhibition showcasing 42 dresses from renowned designers spanning Italian fashion history.

From July 1 to July 2, the Military Academy of Modena and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia will host a number of dedicated events all streamed online. At the center of the program will be 45-minute round table events discussing current topics including sustainability, innovative technologies and consumer trend forecasts led by leading figures of the automotive industry.

The Motor Valley Fest is set to run from July 1 – July 4. For more information on the festival, a full list of events and ways to register — check out the Motor Valley website.
