Archie Didn't Meet Prince George or Princess Charlotte for 2 Months & We Have Questions

The life of a royal is busy. Archie, Prince George and Princess Charlotte didn’t meet for a two whole months. The news comes as a bit of a surprise considering how close the royal family is and that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle still live relatively close to Prince William and Kate Middleton (though not as close as when they all lived at Kensington Palace.)

According to royal correspondent Emily Andrews, the royal cousins’ first meeting was at the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day, in which Prince William and Prince Harry were participating. The outing, which happened a couple weeks ago, offered an opportunity for a slew of pictures for the public. Naturally, it also landed the Duchess of Sussex with unwarranted judgement — yet again. Some also claim that the Duchesses’ appearance was a PR stunt. Still, there was at least one positive outcome from the charity match: It was the first opportunity for the four royal cousins to officially meet, two months after baby Archie’s birth in May 2019.

“It was interesting actually, that polo match, because it was the first time that Charlotte and George had actually met Archie,” Andrews told Yahoo. “They hadn’t actually met him for two months, so that polo match was lovely.” Before more rumors start about a feud between Prince Harry and William and their wives, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the newest addition to the royal family at Frogmore Cottage eight days after his birth. So Kate and Will met Archie a few days after he was born; it just took a while for their kids to do so.

“Yes Kate and Will had been there to see Archie at Frogmore Cottage, but they hadn’t taken their children with them,” Andrews continued.. “So that was the moment at the polo match where all three of the Cambridge kids got to meet Archie.” Here’s to more appearances with the four royal cousins.
