Following its second Spring/Summer 2023 campaign, A Kind of Guise prepares to debut its seasonal Souvenir Shop project. The non-profit installment honors AKOG’s Middle Eastern roots by creating cultural ornamentation representing its local community.
A Kind of Guise’s SS23 Souvenir Shop is made by local artisans that have perfected their craft for decades. The heritage-filled offering accompanies seasonal garments sourced throughout AKOG’s Eastern travels. Bedouin carpets boast intricate handmade patterns that reflect Jordanian and Nomadic traditions. Woven camel saddle blankets are recycled into wall ornamentation, while Dead Sea mineral soaps integrate the water’s healing skin properties.
Finally, handmade toys, keychains, coasters, hookahs, and bookmarks complete the brand’s latest delivery. All sale profits will be donated to Jordanian organization Microfund for Women. The non-profit supports businesswomen looking to achieve their dreams through financial means and community-led services.
