As well as seeing action on the court, Wimbledon has also played host to a bevy of stars. 

And on Saturday’s 12th day of the tournament, Tom Cruise, Katherine Jenkins and Lulu were leading the celebrities as they touched down in South London in chic ensembles to watch the greats hit the court. 

The Mission Impossible star, 59, was bringing the Hollywood glamour in a sleek suit as he followed on from the opera singer, 41, who looked radiant in a pretty blue and white dress paired with strappy nude heels and a complementary handbag while Lulu, 72, made a statement in a bold orange jacket over a white ensemble.

Tom certainly pulled out all the stops for the outing, looking dapper in a navy three-piece suit and black lace-up shoes.

The film star added a crisp white shirt and silver tie, while he shielded his eyes from the sun (and inevitable flash bulbs) as he made his way inside.

Tom appeared chuffed to be at the tennis event as he made his way through the crowd on the penultimate day of the tournament.

The actor was joined at the event by his Mission Impossible co-star Hayley Atwell, 39, who looked radiant in a white patterned maxi dress teamed with a smart cream coat draped over her shoulders.

The singer, who wore her blonde locks in a centre-parting, appeared in great spirts as she strolled with her film producer husband Andrew Levitas.

Lulu meanwhile certainly made a style statement in her bold tangerine blazer, which she teamed with a loose white cotton top and white skinny jeans.

Meanwhile, joining her fellow celebrities at the event was none other that film legend Dame Maggie Smith.

The Harry Potter star, 86, arrived for the Ladies final in a chic coral blazer, which she matched with a navy top and trousers. 

Maggie added a black handbag and a beaded necklace to her look and appeared in good spirits as she strolled with her pals. 

Elsewhere, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Oliver Dowden, 42, was also in attendance at the sporting event.

Saturday’s women’s singles final sees top seed Ashleigh Barty take on Karolina Pliskova in the SW19 showdown on Centre Court.

Barty has breezed through the competition so far and is looking for her first Wimbledon trophy and only her second Grand Slam overall. Meanwhile, world No 13 Pliskova is looking for her maiden Grand Slam title.

Australian player Barty is the first player from her country to take part in the Wimbledon final since 1980, while Pliskova is only in her second Grand Slam final after losing the US Open five years.
